The National Research Council Canada Human Health Therapeutics (NRC-HHT) programs have recently been refreshed to incorporate a new NRC collaboration model that includes grants and contributions.
Recently announced "NRC Health Challenge Program" is being scoped around the theme of engineered cell- and gene-based therapy development and delivery, in broad consultations with Canadian academia, hospitals and business communities. The NRC Health Challenge Program's three main thrusts are: (1) Next-generation CAR therapies; (2) Engineering iPSCs for regenerative medicine, and; (3) Gene-based therapies and delivery vectors.
Academia and industry should attend this event to provide NRC with their input into the program development and discuss future engagements.
The NRC-HHT Research Centre works hand in hand with industry to help biotech firms achieve success. As an R&D partner of choice, the NRC-HHT Research Centre derisks critical steps in the development of biologics, vaccines, and delivery of large molecules to the brain, to help improve the health of Canadians. NRC-HHT adds value to collaborators' products and accelerates their progress to market by overcoming challenges in preclinical development and product characterization, optimizing bioprocesses and their scale-up, and developing biomarkers.
Don't miss the success stories that will be presented, on the co-development model used by Canadian biotechs that have partnered with NRC to accelerate their innovative biologic products development and the new assets in development.
