Matt Redway
Matt Redway is a graphic designer and art director with clients including lululemon and Burton Snowboards. He currently works as a Senior Graphic Designer at lululemon in Vancouver.
Jacquie Shaw
Jacquie Shaw is a designer and visual thinker in Vancouver, on the unceded lands of the Coast Salish peoples. Jacquie's talk will look critically at Canada 150, and discuss their work on the new Canada 150 stamp series designed for Canada Post at Subplot Design.
Tom Froese
Tom Froese is a commercial artist. His work can be seen in numerous publications including Monocle, Harvard Business Review, and GQ France. Tom will speak about how type and lettering factors into his illustration, and his specialty: Canadiana and Canadian design.
About Type Brigade
Type Brigade is Vancouver's typography and type design speaker series. Every other month, we host talks with local designers, developers, artists, and type enthusiasts in the city. We also arrange special events and workshops with type designers and letterers from all over the world, including Martin Jackson, Roxane Gataud, Lost Type, Commercial Type, and more.
