At LandSure you will work as part of an energetic and dedicated group, recognized by the BC Technology Industry Association as 2013 Team of the Year, and responsible for the maintenance and support of the LTSA's mission critical technology that consists of web-based and client/server based systems, and a range of custom-developed and off-the-shelf applications. 


LandSure Systems is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Land Title and Survey Authority of BC (LTSA), a publicly accountable, statutory corporation which operates and administers BC's land title and survey systems. LandSure provides customer support, communications, project management, and information systems consulting services to the LTSA. Working at LandSure provides employees with the ability to work for a stable, independent organization whose parent company is a Canadian leader in land title registration and aims to be globally recognized for its expertise. The environment is entrepreneurial, fast-paced and will suit individuals with a high desire for performance and results. LandSure is located in downtown Vancouver, convenient to the Burrard Skytrain station.


Reporting to the Vice President, Customer Experience and Communications, the Communications Manager is a generalist with strong project management and writing skills. The candidate's ability to develop and carefully communicate key corporate themes and messages is paramount.


The candidate will manage the production of the annual report and business plan, craft internal and public-facing content, and actively participate in managing crisis communications. These and other activities necessitate a strong web-centric and social media approach that reflects customer requirements and stakeholder interests. This is a hands-on, technology-intensive role that requires experience in:

  • Communications planning and implementation
  • Creative direction and event management
  • Measurement and analysis.

We encourage you to apply if you have a bachelor's degree in a related discipline, and have:

  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience, preferably in a public sector, real estate or legal environment.

Candidates must have strong writing skills, demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, an ability to adapt to a complex and changing environment, and enthusiasm for upholding the LTSA as a Canadian leader in land title registration and survey systems management.
