We are looking for a top performing Regional Sales Manager, North Eastern USA, from the hospitality and restaurant market, who have a history of establishing and maintaining strong strategic sales relationships within the Food Service Management sector. The successful candidate will have the capacity to work remotely and travel extensively throughout North America. We require up to 50% travel so being close to a major airport is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Grow the sales pipeline with qualified revenue opportunities in the North American contract food service and multi-unit restaurant segments.
- Contact warm prospective clients in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for Vivonet.
- Aggressively hunt for new customer to help grow our exceptional customer base. This includes phone/in person visits to prospective customers.
- Analyzes the territory/market's potential and determines the value of existing and prospective client's value to the organization.
- Build trust, loyalty and quality relationships with key decision-makers to grow Vivonet's customer community.
- Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for prospective customers.
- Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the customer acquisition cost ratio (CAC Ratio) for the territory/segment.
- Participates in trade shows and conventions.
- Work collaboratively directing groups of peers to facilitate RFPs, to transform prospects to customers, and to help resolve customer issues.
- Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders, to ensure Vivonet provides products and services that meet client and company needs.
- Effectively record and update all sales activities and contacts in our sales customer contact manager (currently Salesforce.com) .
- Supplies management with oral and written reports on sales forecasts, customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
Required Talents and Experience
- Minimum 3 years of Business to Business Sales with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding performance targets.
- Food Service Management sales experience and/or hospitality market with a proven track record of meeting / exceeding quotas for the last 5+ years.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong communication and organizational skills, goal oriented, self-motivated, team player.
- Excellent computer application skills, including Internet, Excel, Word, Outlook, CRM, SalesForce
- Able to travel throughout sales territory; up to 50% travel required
- Able to professionally communicate and represent Vivonet during customer meetings
- Independent and self-motivated
