Vision Critical Launches Next Generation SPARQ Platform - May Be Preparing for Possible IPO, Reports Say (Rumour)

Vancouver, BC, October 23, 2015--(T-Net)--Vancouver-headquartered cloud-based customer intelligence platform company Vision Critical launched the next generation of its SPARQ platform, and may be preparing to go public with an initial public offering (IPO) and possible additional sale of its consulting business in the near future, according to a new report out this week from Bloomberg Business.
Vision Critical is a rapidly emerging BC tech company that was original founded in 2000 by current President and Chief Product Officer Andrew Reid, together with additional leadership from former CEO and Executive Chairman Dr. Angus Reid (who retired as Executive Chairman last year).
(Dr. Angus Reid was founder of the original Angus Reid market research company which was acquired by Ipsos group of companies in 2000).
Vision Critical recently closed a major $16 million financing round and new investors in July 2014.
Vision Critical's technology helps large, customer-centric enterprises discover what their customers want so they can deliver what they need.
Unlike traditional customer research, "which is slow, expensive and gathers dust on a shelf", Vision Critical's customer intelligence platform replaces static data and cumbersome reports with real-time actionable customer intelligence that companies need to build better products, deliver better services and achieve better business outcomes, according to the company.
According to Blooomberg's report, Vision Critical will probably undertake another process early next year to choose the remaining banks to help market the IPO.
