BCIC-New Ventures BC Announces Companies Moving Forward to Round 2.5 and 3

Vancouver, BC, June 2, 2015--(T-Net)--BCIC-New Ventures BC announced today the companies moving forward to round 2.5 and round 3 of the annual new ventures competition for 2015.
The BCIC-New Ventures Competition gives early-stage tech entrepreneurs education, mentorship, and exposure to help build a successful venture.
Participants attend 12 education and networking events, work with mentors, and compete in 3 rounds of judging until 10 remain to compete for over $300,000 in cash & prizes.
Over the past three weeks a panel of 54 jury members reviewed applications submitted by 123 companies. Their scores were analyzed by Octothorpe, and the results are now in.
The top 15 companies will advance directly to Round 3, while the remaining 27 competitors will be paired with a mentor to prepare a presentation to be made before a jury (Round 2.5) on June 17th. Ten of these 27 will be selected to move on, making a total of 25 competitors in Round 3.

Round 2.5 - placing 16-42 (in alphabetical order)
Companies will pitch on June 17th; 10 will move on to Round 3
