RE$EARCH Infosource Inc. ranks SFU as the Number One Comprehensive University for Research Income Growth

Burnaby, BC, November 9, 2016--(T-Net)--Each year, RE$EARCH Infosource Inc. - Canada's Source of R&D Intelligence - publishes Canada's Top 50 Research Universities.
In addition, they publish the eagerly awaited Canada's Innovation Leaders (CIL) - the premier national print vehicle shining the spotlight on research and development at Canada's most innovative universities, corporations, hospitals and colleges. 2016 marks their 15th anniversary, and the theme for the publications is, “Innovation in Canada - Building on Research Excellence.”
On October 27, 2016 the rankings were released for Canada's Top 50 Research Universities for 2016.
Most notable for Simon Fraser University was being ranked as the number one comprehensive university for the University Research Income Growth List.
This means that over the past 15 years, SFU's percentage of change/growth has increased an impressive 362 per cent. Further to that, for the Research Universities of the Year List, SFU was placed third amongst comprehensive universities. SFU remained in 18th position from 2015 for the 2016 Canada's Top 50 Research Universities List.
