Ana Lopez, BCIT's new Vice President, Human Resources and People Development
Vancouver, BC, July 28, 2016--(T-Net)--BCIT announced this week the appointment of Ana Lopez as BCIT's new Vice President, Human Resources and People Development.
A proven senior strategic human resources leader, Ana brings extensive experience to this role, in areas including leadership and employee development, succession planning, labour relations, and other critical aspects of human resources.
Before joining BCIT, Ana held increasingly senior positions at Coast Mountain Bus Company and at TransLink, where she is currently Vice President, Human Resources. She began her career as an Associate in a private legal practice, and received her cum laude LL.B. from the University of Ottawa Law School after completing a B.A. from Carleton University.
BCIT has an important part to play here in BC, nationally, and—increasingly—across the globe. Ana's work will ensure that our people are prepared and up for this challenge. Ana Lopez will begin her new role at BCIT effective August 15, 2016.
