Absolute and EVRY Sign Managed Service Provider and Reseller Agreements to Leverage Application Persistence for More Resilient Endpoint Security across Nordic Region
Vancouver, BC, November 24, 2017--(T-Net)--Absolute today announced it had signed strategic Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Reseller agreements with EVRY, a leading IT operating and outsourcing service provider in the Nordic region.
As a key strategic partner, EVRY will now be able to leverage the Absolute platform to deliver self-healing endpoint security, continuous data protection, and always-connected IT asset management to their customers across the Nordic region.
“With their focus on resilient defense solutions, we feel that Absolute delivers the in-depth market expertise and extensive security experience that our customers value.”
Application Persistence provides firmware-embedded, always-connected endpoint visibility and control capabilities to automatically repair or reinstall third-party endpoint agents such as VPN, anti-virus, encryption, systems management and other critical controls that are easily compromised—without a call to the helpdesk.
Application Persistence leverages Absolute's patented Persistence technology, already embedded in the firmware of more than one billion devices worldwide, to give organizations the power to build more resilient endpoints that self-heal if an application is removed or compromised, and to ultimately return the endpoint to the desired state of safety and efficacy without IT intervention.
It is more important than ever for IT security to maintain the desired state of endpoint security agents, to protect devices on and off the network and remain compliant, by keeping security agents present and operational. A recent study by the Ponemon Institute found 34% of enterprises cannot ensure compliance of endpoints and their corresponding applications.
To eliminate the risks non-compliant endpoints pose, it is critical to know that security agents are always on and that in the face of any security threat, incidents will be remediated in near real-time across the entire endpoint population. As dark endpoints, those that have gone rogue or become invisible to IT, continue to expose organizations to breaches and ransomware attacks, customers are demanding the visibility and control over their entire endpoint population that only Absolute can provide.
“EVRY has been a trusted strategic partner for some time and we are delighted to have the framework in place to expand our presence in the Nordic region with such an outstanding partner,” said Geoff Haydon, Chief Executive Officer, Absolute. “We look forward to working closely with EVRY to help make Application Persistence the cornerstone of security solutions that deliver industry-leading endpoint visibility and control.”
“Absolute is a key partner for EVRY as we share in a vision of innovative security solutions that help us deliver differentiated IT and security solutions to our customers,” said Björn Ivroth, Chief Executive Officer, EVRY. “With their focus on resilient defense solutions, we feel that Absolute delivers the in-depth market expertise and extensive security experience that our customers value.”
Application Persistence gives IT and security professionals uncompromised visibility and control of applications, data and devices — whether the devices are on or off the corporate network — allowing organizations to:
