16 Research Teams Across BC Receive 2018 Convening & Collaborating Awards

Vancouver, BC, January 30, 2018--(T-Net)--Sixteen teams of researchers and research users from across BC have been funded in MSFHR's second Convening & Collaborating (C2) competition.
Designed to foster collaboration between researchers and research users such as health care professionals, policy makers and patients, the C2 Program supports teams to carry out collaborative activities that promote the use of research evidence in practice, policy and further research.
The 16 teams, based across BC's universities and health authorities, will work on projects such as stakeholder consultations, public engagement and co-development of research methodologies that directly address one or more of the current BC health system priorities. These projects include:
Through these collaborative activities, each C2 team will draw on research expertise and lived experiences to address real world health challenges and build capacity for knowledge translation in BC.
