Symmetrics Announces Trial Availability of Its New nVISION On Demand Offering

Vancouver, BC, August 13, 2009--(T-Net)--Symmetrics announced today that its new Software-as-a-Service application called nVISION On Demand is now available on a free trial basis. The application helps contact centers to quickly integrate data from different contact center data sources, reports and spreadsheets, enabling them to efficiently analyze and share information to make better business decisions. The solution is targeted at smaller sized contact center operations that don’t have the budget or resources to support a full on-premise solution, but who still require reporting and analytic capabilities that go beyond the standard, built-in reporting found in contact center applications (such as ACD, IVR, WFM and QA software).
The application will be generally available (GA) in Q4 2009, but the company is actively pursuing customers who want to trial the application (which will be free with no purchase obligation during the trial period) in order to evaluate its benefit and value.
The application is delivered completely in an online fashion, with no software, hardware or internal IT resources required. It will be sold on a monthly or annual subscription payment model (pricing to be announced). Its key value propositions and unique differentiators include:
• Simple data gathering by uploading existing reports or spreadsheets that already hold contact center data
• Intuitive Question interface for analyzing data, allowing users to use simple English language expressions to query data
• Powerful sharing and collaboration functionality without having to email multiple iterations or data or reports
• Ability to get up and running fast using pre-built QuickStarts, which can have users uploading and analyzing data in under 10 minutes.

nVISION On Demand eliminates manual copying, pasting and data manipulation, allowing customers to easily consolidate new data into one master data set that dynamically builds over time. Users don’t need to know anything about connecting to underlying databases, access permissions or SQL; nVISION On Demand can read Crystal Report files, CSV export files and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, which are the typical output formats for most contact center systems. QuickStarts are also available, which are pre-built datamarts and questions that are designed for specific contact center applications. Currently, nVISION On Demand has a QuickStart for Nortel Contact Center Manager Server (CCMS) with others for Avaya, Cisco and other common contact centers systems to be released in the near future.
