Job Description:

Senior Technical Writer

What we need:

As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for writing and editing technical documentation for our innovative product suite of .net applications. Working alongside the Research & Development and Customer Support teams, you will utilize your experience, research skills and organizational abilities to develop a complete documentation set that will be used internally and externally. You must be able to articulate technology in a clear and concise manner that will be understood by both business and technical users.

Specific Duties:

* Confer with Developers, and Field Engineers to establish technical specifications and determine subject material to be developed

* Author technical documentation that will be used by our staff and our customers and can be understood by both technical and non-technical users

* Select photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate material

* Study drawings, specifications, mock-ups, and product samples to integrate and delineate technology, operating procedure, and production sequence and detail

* Establish a documentation writing style and format that will become the company standard

Things you need to have:

* Advanced writing skills - Ability to develop a full range of materials (manuals, tutorials, etc.)

* Extremely Organized

* Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design

* Highly Assertive & Perseverant - ALWAYS gets the job done

* A high level of technical ability, ideally with 3-5 years experience on .net applications

* Self Driven & Motivated

* Great with People
