Here's your chance to excel as part of the Project Management Office (PMO) team at HSBC. This is where you will get the opportunity to assist with the development, design and implementation of systems to support the PMO and its function. In this integral role, you will provide technical support for systems of various complexity levels. This will include planning and conducting tests, identifying procedures, helping to resolve production challenges, conducting walk throughs and coordinating implementations. Part of your role will be to support the training and orientation of other staff and users. You will also work with other PMO team members to design and implement tools that assist in overall project reporting and to support the Project Management team in their project reporting activities. A key component of your success will be to remain current on technical and professional developments.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
- Three years experience with systems development, methods and tools or a specialty function.
- Highly proficient in MS Excel and able to work with pivot tables and lookup tables.
- Able to work with a team to identify needs and assist in implementation.
- Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
