We are recruiting for a Pre-Sales Consultant to join our Sales team in the Vancouver office. The primary accountability for the Pre-Sales Consultant role is to assist North American Sales in advancing and closing solution sales opportunities in a business-to-business environment. This includes assisting Account Managers in maximizing revenue opportunities through the appropriate application of various solution elements and assisting customers in understanding and recognizing functional/technical advantages of proposed solutions. Cross-group collaboration with Product Management, Product Development and Technical Support teams are essential to success in this role.
Responsibilities
-Meet with customers to understand needs, problems, objectives and business pains to drive solution demonstrations that meet key needs -Coordinate demonstration events, logistics and technology -Assist sales professionals in developing account strategies -Communicate sales oriented observations from customer interactions with sales team members -Participate in developing proposal content related to application of ACL solutions -Develop sales support resources such as demonstrations and presentations including industry specific content -Maintain deep knowledge of ACL solutions -Provide feedback to ACL product management on ways to make sales and customers more successful -Tradeshow/speaking event lead development and demonstrations -Develop, demonstrate proofs of concept and evaluations to prospects -Use company CRM system to accurately record all client-engaging activities -Retain current business base & grow market opportunities
Job Specifications
Experience
-At least five years experience selling and/or deploying technology -Strong knowledge and familiarity with general IT infrastructure and interoperability requirements is key Experience in a team selling, enterprise-level sales environment is a strong asset -Knowledge of and experience with audit and procurement processes is a strong asset
Education/Work experience
-Post secondary education at the University level is preferred -A commitment to ongoing personal development and training in solution selling skills is a requirement -Accounting and Internal Controls professional designations are an asset -Information systems background is a requirement
