In this exciting role you will develop demo game applications based on game outline documents using Lingo/Java Script and Adobe Director. You possess excellent communication skills which will be utilized when liaising with colleagues to provide accurate project estimates and updates. Your proven team skills will play a fundamental part in your role which will involve working closely with artists, sound designer and team leads to make sure that the games’ look and feel is represented accurately according to the game outline document. You will provide and update the appropriate documentation explaining step-by-step breakdown of events pertaining to the execution of a specific feature of the game. You will be responsible for importing various math tables and information using ‘dll’ files. You will also be accountable for all deliverables pertaining to the programmatic development of a game title. You will produce versioned builds of a project using Wise Installer and maintain base game code and keep it updated using a corporate wide version control system as well as being responsible for Code Reviews of fellow developers. You will perform updates of the game in a timely manner and will review and fix all programmatic issue found in the assigned project. You will act as a mentor by assisting and training fellow demo and other developers whose position it is to create the final product. Part of this will also include creating tools that will assist in the development of games.

You will also have the opportunity to travel occasionally for tradeshows and customer sites to observe product usage and performance in the field.

You are trained in using Adobe Director 2004 and are familiar with the principles of game and user interface design. You have proven experience with Imaging Lingo, XML, Director Xtras, and DLLs. You possess 2+ years' experience in Lingo, Actionscript or other object-oriented programming. Rounding out your skill set is a programmatic development program from an accredited post-secondary institution.
