Creating portfolios to purposefully collect and organize artifacts that support reflection on growth over time and provide evidence of skills  has a long tradition, especially in the arts. With the British Columbia government adopting portfolios as a new Grade 12 graduation requirement Paul explores the emergence of "e-portfolios" as a new online learning technology and pedagogical practice.
