In 2009, NTS obtained the exclusive world rights from Simon Fraser University (SFU) to commercialize N.O.t.E.S (Nano-Optic Technology for Enhanced Security), a technology platform which uses patented processes based on electron beam lithography to emboss hundreds of millions of nano-holes into a wide variety of surfaces and materials. These nano-hole features produce unique, pure high-definition, iridescent color-switching effects that are unparalleled by conventional micro-scale holographic techonology.
