The most valuable features in business today are people and knowledge - in particular, people with knowledge. To develop technology-based knowledge and convert it into practical reality is often a risky process. Fortunately, organizations can take advantage of the Canadian Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SR&ED) program that rewards businesses with generous, broad based tax incentives. However the program is complicated and continually evolving. Join BDO's SR&ED and government incentives specialist David O'Neill as he explores the various funding program available, demystifies SR&ED, and outlines how BDO can assist with your government assistance claims. David will also field questions from attendees at the end of his presentation. This workshop is aimed at technology companies, but is also suitable for business owners in other sectors where scientific or technological advancements occur. The workshop is a partnership between BDO and the CoLab and is free to attend. Lunch will be provided.
