What does it mean to "be a man" in today's tech-centric workplace? How do the issues we're facing today from the massive transformation of work, to the creative/tech economy, the #MeToo movement, men's mental health and well-being, to the fact that fathers are three times more engaged than the generation prior, contribute to changing expectations of men and masculinity in the workplace?

As Next Gen Men's Executive Director, Jake is a passionate speaker and facilitator focused on gender-based issues related to the social and emotional development of young men, the health and well-being of men in communities, and gender equity in workplaces.
Jake has been named one of Avenue Magazine's Top 40 Under 40, as well as earning recognition from Ashoka, the British Council, and the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion. He has spoken at the United Nations as part of the Canadian Delegation, participated in the UN Women Safe Cities Initiative Global Forum, and is honoured to serve as an advisor to the Calgary Immigrant Women's Association as well as the Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women in Sport.
