The business case for diversity is clear. Diverse organizations are better run and post better results than homogenous ones. And they are more innovative. A recently released Accenture study shows that diversity, combined with a culture of equality, helps maximize organizations' capacity for innovation.
Yet many sectors such as information and communications technology, energy and natural resources still struggle to attract and retain women in their workforces and corporate leadership. They can do better and they must. Research shows that persistently ignoring the contribution that women make to the workforce has a negative impact on our overall economic performance.
WCT can help your company build a more inclusive and equal workforce.
WCT's Closing the Gender Gap Workshops deliver employers a professional, third-party assessment of their strategies for attracting, retaining and advancing female employees. Through an interactive, two-and-a-half-hour live session, the workshop will help employers prioritize diversity and inclusion initiatives and align them with the company's business goals. The workshop will also identify overlooked opportunities for encouraging women's inclusion and advancement.
WCT's Closing the Gender Gap Workshops will help employers:
- Understand current "best practices" in diversity and inclusion
- Increase the effectiveness of their own diversity and inclusion practices
- Do a better job of recruiting and retaining women and other under-represented groups in the workforce.
- Develop an action plan to help the employer achieve its diversity goals.
Registration is limited and based on a first come, first served basis. Participants will be asked to complete an anonymous assessment tool. Register by May 20 to avoid disappointment.
