Is it challenging to find time to focus on your own work? Does your team often comment on how many meetings there are? Having focus time is important because it's where we can concentrate on our work, and develop new ideas and solutions. Back in April of this year, Wendy posted a question in this meetup's Slack group. Had anyone experimented with implementing Rhythm of Business or Focus Blocks to help gain back focus time for their team?
In this talk, Wendy shares her experience in implementing Rhythm of Business at Bananatag. What happened since posting that question back in April? What worked? What didn't work? And if she were to do it again, what would she do differently?
Wendy is a Software Development Manager at Bananatag. Although still a relatively new manager, she has over 10 years of experience as a Software Developer. This past year, she has learned a lot from the Vancouver Software Development Managers community. She's excited to have this opportunity to contribute back, and looks forward to the discussion!

Please RSVP if you are coming and please update promptly if your plan changes. Our "No Show" policy - we will remove you from the group if you RSVP but do not show up a few times. We hope that it would provide some fairness to our hosting company, our organizers as well as other people who got onto the wait list wanting to come to our events.
