The newly formed Current Artist Collective is thrilled to announce their debut exhibition and sale which take place on December 8th, 2019 at Summerhill Pyramid Winery from 11 am - 9 PM.
Confluence - the title of the collective's first show - captures the inspiration for the collaborative artist group: building an inspiring creative future together.
"It's been refreshing to work with other artists whose art practices and skill sets are so different from my own," said Cynthia Gunsinger. "Seeing all of our talents working together to build something new and fresh has really been uplifting."
Comprised of 8 female artists from British Columbia, Current's members include Gunsinger, Melissa Dinwoodie, Nikki Balfour,Sharon Clarke, Natasha Harvey,Joan McEwan and Selena Blewett-Sced, and Gale Woodhouse.
Just in time for the holidays, this one-day-only show and sale at Summerhill Winery will encourage the festive spirit in art lovers and the public alike. Current's member artists range from potters to painters, sculptors to mixed media and interdisciplinary artists which will ensure an interesting and dynamic show.
"Our goal is to introduce a new artistic selection of quality artworks in a relaxing and beautiful atmosphere," said Gale Woodhouse. "Current's debut exhibition at Summerhill Pyramid Winery gives us an opportunity to celebrate new beginnings and share with you what we do best.
