Given the current situation and need for social distancing, we're moving Open Coffee online! This event will be hosted through Google Meet. Please RSVP to this page as usual and at 8:00am head on over to the digital Coffee Shop at: https://meet.google.com/ded-umex-yip?hs=122.
Bring your coffee/tea/pets and looking forward to socializing with new and old tech friends as we weather these challenging times.
Open Coffee Club is a casual gathering of people involved/interested in founding, operating or funding startups. The format is similar to Startup Drinks, but in the morning and with coffee.
The vibe is more hangout than event and provides people with a regular time and location to talk shop, discuss news, ask questions and and meet others in the startup community they may only see occasionally at more formal events.
For more information and background, please see the Open Coffee Club post on the Pixel Crafters (http://www.pixelcrafters.ca) website.
Vancouver Founders Meetup was originally Vancouver Pixel Crafters, a meetup created by Boris Mann, an open-source developer, entrepreneur, and angel investor what has been an advocate and supporter of the Vancouver technology ecosystem for over a decade.
The original vision of the meetup is to be an open forum to promote events that celebrate collaboration, drive towards a more closely-knit tech startup community, and highlight the people and companies building great products and adding great value.
Vancouver's world-class startup community and talent pool has significant untapped potential. A stronger more diverse network of entrepreneurs and investors can lead to more efficient and timely business relationships, referrals and recommendations between peers.
Meetups posted on Vancouver Founders are managed by their respective organizer.
If you are a community organizer regularly organizing events targetting the Vancouver tech startup community let us know and we will add you as an organizer so you can post your events.
