About the Role:

As a front-end engineer on our team, you'll work in an agile environment developing our SaaS application that helps hundreds of the world's top brands make their products and services better. You'll play an active role in building the next generation of our platform using some of the latest technologies. We're building a next generation customer experience platform to enable users to interact with brands they love, gain access to inside information, and drive loyalty.

What you'll do:

• Work on all levels of our Front-end stack (JavaScript/React, HTML5/CSS)
• Actively look for ways to improve the Front-end UX and codebase
• Help improve our Front-end architecture
• Mentor and guide team members in technical knowledge with best coding practices.

Required Skills/Experience:

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Front-end engineer, building single-page web applications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science/software engineering or equivalent experience is preferred
• Broad knowledge of the JavaScript ecosystem (vanilla JS, ES6, Babel, linting tools)
• Experience with modern Front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Experience with HTTP and working with REST APIs, web services, or microservices
• Experience developing modular user interfaces and familiarity with modern CSS frameworks, preprocessors, tools and workflow
• Experience with software engineering best practices (e.g. unit testing, code reviews, design documentation)
• Experience with UI frameworks such as Material UI, Bootstrap, or Foundation
• Experience with cross-browser/platform debugging
• Have worked with more extensive JS codebases and are able to keep your code testable, modular, and loosely coupled
• Proven understanding of the full web technology stack
• Experience implementing mockups/wireframes while iterating on designs with a UX team

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Full-stack development experience
• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience with JS or React-based unit/E2E test frameworks (e.g. Jest, Enzyme, Cypress, React Testing Library)
• Experience with state management systems (e.g. Redux, Mobx, Recoil)
• Experience working with mobile app frameworks such as React Native, Flutter, Ionic, or NativeScript
• Experience working with GraphQL
• Experience working with Node.js
