HR Coordinator
Our team is looking for an emerging HR practitioner to join our People team!. We aim to provide the best employee experience for our employees during their journey here at Alida. Our team is comprised of Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Payroll and we all work closely together to ensure that the "people" needs of the business are met. The position will be based in the Vancouver and will be reporting to the Human Resources Manager.
What will your day look like
- Support HRIS administration and ATS administration
- Support the Talent Acquisition team with coordinating and scheduling interviews, creating and posting jobs, conduct background checks and assist with offers etc.
- Process employment related letters such as offers, transfers, promotions, etc.
- Ensure employee documents and letters are kept up to date and compliance procedures are followed
- Support global benefits administration and the administration of employee programs (e.g. health benefits, retirement plans, and so on)
- Supports employees by providing information according to company policies and procedures
- Create processes and implement procedures as required to ensure effective administration
- Maintain and verify accuracy of employee records including pay, benefits and leaves
- Assist in surveying market data in order to determine company's competitive position in employee benefits
- Execute communication and implementation plans for wellness and health education initiatives
- Ensures company compliance with provincial, federal and state laws
- Provide project support on HR initiatives and programs as needed
What will you bring to the team
- 2+ years of progressive HR experience, experience working in a high-tech environment in an asset
- Strong professional communication skills, both oral and written
- Exhibit a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Establish and maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Proficient computer skills including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Desire to work in a collaborative environment
- Ability to deliver on tight timelines and changing requirements
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
