The Alida Sales Training & Enablement Specialist will be responsible for leading and managing a subset of comprehensive sales training, enablement operations and activities supporting the Alida Sales Organization globally. This role is vital for our ability to scale our Sales capabilities, ensure timely and effective new hire ramp and drive continuous learning in support of our quarterly product release cycles.
Reporting to the Head of Alida Learning & Enablement this Role requires a forward-thinking operational perspective with a strong focus on building scalable and repeatable onboarding and enablement programs to support the accelerated growth of the Alida business and organization.
The Alida Sales Training & Enablement Specialist will work closely with the global and regional Sales Leadership team and will directly liaison with key stakeholders from selected domains, like the Product Management, Customer Success, Professional Services as well as Marketing and our Partner Organization to drive a consistent Messaging into the field, support the ramp-up of Alida sales capabilities (internally and externally) and foster awareness and adoption via various in-bound and out-bound channels.
Success in the position will be measured (besides others) against new hire ramp time, time to productivity and overall contribution and is highly dependent on 4 key competency dimensions: operational execution, innovation, interpersonal and sales excellence. As part of a virtual team the ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a high-performance, fast-paced environment where all processes are not fully defined yet. In addition, the individual must be adept at multitasking with a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.
An entrepreneurial mindset and creativity as well as strong written and verbal communications skills will come as assets. Previous experience in direct sales, sales training and education in the Customer Experience Management industry, logistical and organizational talent and familiarity and experience with Docebo Learning Management System is desired.
Purpose and Objectives
- Support execution of overarching Sales Training and Enablement Strategy with respect to new hire ramp, onboarding and continuous training.
- Drive regional adoption and execution of global Alida Sales Enablement Programs across Alida's Solution Portfolio
- Deliver recurring sales onboarding training, workshops and bootcamps both in-person and virtual with a focus on Sales Methodology & Execution, Best-Practices as well as Messaging and Positioning
- Support continuous improvement of Programs, Initiatives and Content
- Drive a balanced enablement strategy for self-paced, on-demand and high-touch, experiential sales learning.
- Create and maintain a persistent focus on customer outcomes and value
- Understand solution and industry drivers while aligning business and market priorities.
- Ability to drive complex topics and initiatives with communication and program management skills.
Stakeholder Management:
- Engage the organization in driving sales excellence in order to improve relationships, revenue, and profit.
- Meet with stakeholders to uncover enablement requirements across the business and ensure those needs are met by the curriculum.
- Work closely with Sales leadership, Product Marketing, Partners and Customer Success and Professional Services to identify, create, drive and deliver consistent and scalable enablement initiatives/programs globally at Alida.
- Provide coaching to team members inside and outside one's own department as required. Networks with peers and senior executives.
- Interact and build strong & collaborative working relationships with key internal stakeholder groups to identify new opportunities for accelerating new hire ramp and driving continuous sales learning
Day-to-Day Operations
Enablement Execution & Monitoring
- Deliver and coordinate end-to-end training or enablement sessions, capturing learnings, ensuring reusability, structuring content, and coaching others on how to use/manage knowledge in the regions.
- Manage logistics for onsite or remote delivery of training workshops and corporate events like Field Kick-Off Meetings and coordinate speakers and attendees.
- Showcase successes, learnings, and best practices beyond internal borders or silos. Develop, coach, guide, and lead peers.
- Act as trusted advisor in community, actively communicating across the business
- Support management in monitoring and evaluation of KPIs and overall success and adoption of initiatives and programs.
Process Definition & Enhancement
- Plan, manage and execute regional, demand-driven and role-specific sales enablement initiatives
- Coach and motivate project contributors to jointly execute priority programs against targets.
- Manage expectations proactively and transparently for strong project/program execution and completion.
- Leverage extended knowledge and networks to drive higher impact.
- Conduct assessments and reviews to actively contribute to improvement on process performance.
Internal Enablement & Knowledge-Management Program & Curricular Planning:
- Identify, create, and manage compelling and meaningful learning programs, curate curricula and build training content to enable field teams to accelerate pipeline, close deals and drive productivity.
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimize the (internal or external) learning experience and consumption of related content/messages through relevant or innovative tactics and tools
- Work with and coordinate live and on-demand external sales training from outside vendors, platforms and Partners
- Continuously adopt the sales onboarding program for new hires, based on data-driven insights & decisions
Content Development & Management:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to produce collaterals to be used in enablement sessions, made available in a frictionless way to those who need it.
- Support creation and management of Learning Paths and content in Docebo
- Support a subset of communications channels like Alida's Intranet offering (Google Sites) and other knowledge-sharing offerings, e.g. Docebo, Showpad, Slack, etc.
Work Experience
- 5+ years of working experience, thereof 2+ in sales or sales training;
- Minimum 2 years of instructional decision, sales enablement and/or employee onboarding experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of a dedicated Sales Methodology, e.g. Challenger, Sandler, Command of the Message (ForceManagement) or Value-based Selling.
- Understanding of the MEDDICC qualification methodology
- Facilitation skills and the ability to teach those skills to others
- Strong experience coaching, mentoring and developing others
- Proven ability to work in a cross-functional and fast-paced team environment
- Strong initiative and drive to innovate
- Ability to sell ideas and concepts
Skills and Qualifications
- Post-Secondary degree: MBA preferred
- Proficient with Google Office Suite (G-Suite) (Google Slides/Sheets/Docs) including skills for the formatting and creative visual display of information - alternatively proficiency in MS Office
- Sales training certification, sales methodologies and/or qualification frameworks are strongly desired
- Experience with Docebo Learning Management and Showpad content management a plus
- Experience working with Salesforce.com, Linked in Sales Navigator and Zoom Info come as a plus
- English: Fluent (ability to fluently understand and communicate verbally and in writing)
