Job Purpose
Develop, implement and realize the sales/service and/or business plan and develop, structure and manager the assigned area/unit within the overall business strategy, in order to realize commercial and business objectives
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Exercising discretion and independent
- Judgement when dealing with critical matters within the organization
- Train field and sales representatives/account managers in solution-selling skills necessary to sell at good profit margins
- Assist sales and field representatives in bringing a full- sales service package to dealers and end-users
- Act as liaison between the company and the field representatives as well as facilitate business processes and assist with problem resolution
- Achieve sales goals
- Lead in the selling process and identifying customers and sales channel management; profit and loss responsibility that includes forecasting sales, tracking margins and managing costs
- DSO control
- This position may have supervisory responsibility
- Travel could be extensive
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in related field
- 5-7 years of extensive and successful sales experience or combination of education and experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Superior problem solving and analytical skills
- Superb written and oral communication skills
- The ability to understand and explain technical electrical systems and material handling
- Basic math ability; proficient in Microsoft applications
- Able to write reports, interpret general business periodicals, manuals, and journals
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree preferred
- Previous supervisory experience helpful
