JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties:
* The Manager, Information Management, Analysis & Process Improvement - Properties has accountability for the following:
- Leads a team of 7 employees who have accountability for supporting Properties through information technology solutions, records management, Mapping and process improvements.
- Information Management & Analysis o Maintaining and enhancing the Properties Information Management System (IBM TRIRIGA) which is used to manage all Properties information across the asset classes (lands, rights of way and buildings) o Providing direction and expertise for the management and integrity of Properties' records (hardcopy and electronic) comprising of 100,000+ records (agreements, licenses, statutory right of ways, permits, plans, etc.). o Managing building and asset data and records through a centralized information management system. o Providing leadership for property reporting and mapping services, which supports Properties in the delivery of projects. o Working with the Legal and FOI offices to assist with document requests related to Properties real estate records.
- Process Improvements and Properties Support o Providing leadership for Properties business process improvements o Supporting Properties with SharePoint site setup & administration and accountable for maintaining Properties Hydroweb site o Leading Properties Emergency Management and Business Continuity planning, participate in company wide Emergency Management planning.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate is an experienced leader in an area of Information Technology, records management, or other relevant discipline.
- Minimum 10-12 years of progressive, related experience (preferably in information management and project management) leading teams.
- A university degree or post-secondary diploma/certificate in a related discipline or field such as Information Technology, and management courses in business, finance, project delivery, operations management, change management, communications or equivalent experience.
- Proven team player and relationship builder, with strong interpersonal, communication, conflict management, analytical, negotiation skills;
- Proven ability to take ownership of issues, effectively assess risk, prioritize appropriate actions, and persevere to achieve results;
- Experience in promoting employee development by establishing clear expectations, providing feedback and having difficult conversations.
- Experience implementing IT systems would be an asset.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to encourage innovation, collaboration, risk taking and creative thinking in others through performance coaching/mentoring/ recognition.
- Project Management certification considered an asset.

Flexible work model role definitions
Our four role types identify the degree of flexibility an employee could have to work from home based on the type of work they do. The flexibility for an individual job is up to the manager for each position and the operational requirements. Employees also have the right to work full-time from the office if they prefer. All of our roles require at least some in-person time.
IBEW/Field - No option to work from home
Resident - Works primarily (4+ days per week) in the office.
Hybrid - May be able to work from home up to 3 days per week.
Remote - Works from home 4+ days per week
