JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties:
Works within the Enterprise Solutions team of the Technology Group, the successful candidate will be the key player in driving SAP IS-U and Customer Care Services (CX) initiatives for operations and project delivery. The product owner responsibilities include:
* Providing solution leadership and expertise in areas like customer service, meter to cash, field service requests for residential, non-residential and industrial customers.
* Providing subject matter expertise for features and capabilities of SAP IS-U, Customer Experience, and closely integrated components like advanced metering infrastructure, self-service functions, telephony/chat, and analytics/reporting.
* Identifying/initiating project/work program/improvement initiatives and solution roadmap based on business needs and industry best practices.
* Contributing to the success of sustainment operation and implementation projects as solution lead/product owner
Qualifications:
* A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business, engineering or equivalent.
* System expert in SAP for utilities solutions and meter-to-cash processes with at least 3 full-cycle SAP implementation projects and 10 years of progressive experience in utility industry or consulting environment.
* Superior written and verbal communication skills, and excellent facilitation skills to proactively engage multiple internal stakeholder groups and external parties.
* Experience leading strategic discussions and building product roadmaps.
* Flexible, self-starter with results orientation and the ability to quickly make decisions.
* Experience in SAP S/4HANA and SAP CX is an asset.

Management, Project Management, Environment Health & Safety, Sales & Distribution, and Enterprise Asset Management all running in a single instance. Various projects are currently in progress for the SAP ERP Program, which includes SAP ERP migration to S/4 HANA, SuccessFactors learning, Enterprise Asset Management, and Customer Experience (CX) implementation.
* Reporting into the Technology Group, this senior level position supports BC Hydro's enterprise solution strategy by strengthening internal SAP capabilities

Flexible work model role definitions
Our four role types identify the degree of flexibility an employee could have to work from home based on the type of work they do. The flexibility for an individual job is up to the manager for each position and the operational requirements. Employees also have the right to work full-time from the office if they prefer. All of our roles require at least some in-person time.
IBEW/Field - No option to work from home
Resident - Works primarily (4+ days per week) in the office.
Hybrid - May be able to work from home up to 3 days per week.
Remote - Works from home 4+ days per week
