The Ministry of Citizens' Services performs a dynamic, corporate leadership role in government to support the development of an innovative, modern and robust technology environment; to improve accessible and responsive services and information to citizens; and to provide enabling infrastructure for ministries and the broader public sector to transform how government works on a day-to-day basis.
The Government Digital Experience (GDX) division supports ministries to run and design human-centered digital services. This includes public engagements initiatives, service design projects, citizen facing website development, content strategy, maintaining the province's corporate web presence (gov.bc.ca) and several other information technology solutions for modernizing government.
The Scrum Master is responsible for leading technology project planning, design, implementation and close out, and for the management of the agile sprint process for a scrum team. Your leadership, people and creative problem-solving skills assure that projects deliver measurable results while building and maintaining positive relationships. This position's primary responsibility is the support and evolution of the technology platform for engage.gov.bc.ca, it's related properties and GDX applications delivering custom web solutions for program areas across government.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
- Degree in Computer Science; OR
- An equivalent amount of education/experience may be considered.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience with each of the following:
- Service design experience,
- Working with e-commerce, web development, and UI best practices,
- Agile lifecycle management practices and tools,
- Software development lifecycle (SDLC),
- Agile software development methodologies.
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- Scrum Master Certification.
