Overview

The Quality Assurance Analyst will write test plans, test cases, and test suites in Azure DevOps (TFS), as well as execute test cases and record results. The successful candidate will also complete defect tracking, testing and defect closures. In addition, you will prepare test reports and statistics in TFS, create and maintain Automated Test Suites and test scripts, and complete manual testing. The Quality Assurance Analyst will work with the Business Analyst and the rest of the project team to validate all new software development and enhancements to ensure it meets business requirements, as well as support the business during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as and when required.

The qualifications of the successful candidate include:

• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BSc) or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, and 5 or more years of testing experience for Web and Applications or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Sound working knowledge of creating Automated Test Scripts using Robot Framework with Selenium and Python (PyCharm)
• Experience with risk-based, boundary, black box and white box testing
• Experience with Security and Role based testing, SSIS, SQL reporting and Workflows
• Experience with manual UI testing
• Experience in API testing and working with databases
• Sound understanding of web, client-server, and strong database (SQL) skills

• Working knowledge of ReadyAPI (SoapUI) and Postman will be an asset

• Ability to understand high and low level technical design documents
• Ability to assess requirements for testing
• Good working knowledge of MS Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent communicator with strong work ethic with a focus on quality, results and customer satisfaction.
• CSTB (Canadian Software Testing Board) Certified or equivalent is desirable
