The Ballard Financial Planning & Analysis Team has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst. Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis, the successful candidate will lead the corporate budgeting and forecasting process, manage and update consolidated financial models, lead quarterly performance management reporting, and provide analysis and insight to help the leadership team make informed decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, support, and refine the financial planning process and management reporting including the annual consolidated budget and quarterly financial forecast.
• Develop and manage financial models supporting annual operating plans, forecasts, strategic plans, and ad hoc scenario analysis.
• Engage with leaders across all functional areas to ensure alignment and support decision-making by providing stakeholders with timely, detailed, and meaningful insights on corporate performance.
• Influence key decisions by understanding the big picture and providing underlying financial analysis and insight.
• Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to standardize and automate reporting tools and processes.
• Provide leadership and guidance on the design and implementation of new processes and systems.
• Training, development, and mentorship of team members.
• Lead in the implementation and adoption of Oracle ERP suite.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has demonstrated excellent analytical skills and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and advanced Excel skills will round out the successful candidate.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
• Chartered Professional Accountant designation
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in FP&A with extensive budgeting, forecasting, and reporting experience
• Effective coaching and mentoring skills
• Experienced in the implementation and application of Oracle Cloud ERP
• Exceptional analytical and modelling skills; expert knowledge of Excel is required. Business Intelligence experience is an advantage
• Excellent analytical abilities, ability to identify trends and key strategic insights to inform and influence executive decisions
