The Role:
Reporting to the Technical Product Manager, the Senior Salesforce System Administrator is a key member of Global Relay's Information Systems Team and will work closely with other Team Members and multiple internal stakeholders. The Senior Salesforce System Administrator is responsible for managing Salesforce and related external systems.
These responsibilities require the ability to work as part of a Team, provide guidance to Team Members on technical Salesforce matters, and continuously improve Global Relay's use of Salesforce and related systems.
Success in this role will be measured by the Senior Salesforce Administrator's ability to:
- Work effectively with individuals from multiple teams across the business
- Set appropriate expectations for when work will be delivered and proactively inform stakeholders of expectations
- Be a product champion and encourage the adoption of new functionality and technology
- Partner effectively with the TPM to find the best way/timing to implement new functionality
Role Responsibilities:
- Providing assistance to internal users on a daily basis for Salesforce and related external systems
- Monitoring overall system usage and ensuring adherence to Global Relay security policies
- Maintaining and continuously improving Global Relay's use of Salesforce and related systems
- Reviewing upcoming Salesforce Releases for new functionality that could provide benefits to Global Relay
- Reviewing and approving proposed Salesforce changes from other Team Members
- Managing the timing of Production Salesforce changes to avoid conflicts with major Team Development projects
Qualifications:
- Certified Salesforce Administrator with 5+ years of Salesforce administration experience
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant software/computer related fields
- Strong Technical Skills
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience using BI software tools such as Pentaho is an asset
- Ability to work both as part of a Team and independently
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
