You possess strong CS fundamentals and have the confidence contributing to (and sometimes leading) multiple projects. You are not easily distracted; you can focus on solving the most important problem (top prioritized, and sometimes the hardest) while having the patience to delay what seems urgent, easy but less important tasks. There are 1000 interesting things happening in the ML, every day, but you like to follow-through.

You enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary environment. You can explain how software work to people from different backgrounds. You can demo your work on a weekly basis -- not just to show progress, but also to receive feedbacks. Communication is a two-way information exchange. You have the patience to listen and understand the nuance in other people's problems before letting the urge to convey your thoughts took over. You love to help.

At Kabam, we work with fellow software engineers, data scientists, game engineers, quest designers and many others to integrate Machine Learning with various existing projects.

In this role, you can expect to:

• Write robust, quality code and maintain code quality across the team
• Contribute to the Machine Learning workflow framework and infrastructure
• Work with data scientist and build Machine Learning applications
• Research and facilitate game AI development with Machine Learning
• Participate in all aspects of the project life-cycle, from ideation to specification to release
• Work on ad-hoc projects and/or requirements may arise as requested

Your background includes:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent (i.e. Knowledge in CS fundamentals)
• Hands-on skills in building and maintaining software projects
• Experience with Python, Docker, SQL
• Excellent in a multi-disciplinary collaboration environment
• Get things done independently

For those who want to take it up a notch, we'd love to see you have:

• Experience with Machine Learning, Unity and Human-Computer Interaction
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures (i.e. Kubernetes, Istio, etc)
• Have maintained a software project and overcame many challenges
• Provide some code sample
• 1+ Yr Industry experience
