We're on the hunt for an Administrative Assistant on our Geointelligence team at our Richmond office

We require a professional administrative assistant to support our Engineering, Aviation & Land groups based in our Richmond office. The successful candidate will be proactive, energetic and have excellent customer relations and communication skills The applicant must be highly organized, able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Richmond based Engineering Department (Engineering Manager & Line Managers) as well as the Aviation and Land programs, (population ~ 75) with the following functions
- Coordinating the logistics for all managers' customer/business visits (ordering lunches, booking rooms etc.)
- Coordinating/setting-up conference calls (Zoom)
- Coordinating new hire arrangements & team computing needs
- Coordinating travel arrangements and expense claims
- Organizing team events
- Correspondence preparation
- Be an interface to the Richmond Engineering office and Line Managers.
- Periodic support for Richmond reception desk as required.
- Assisting the project teams with miscellaneous tasks as required
- Other duties as assigned or required
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years office experience providing administrative support
- High School Diploma
- Intermediate level PC experience and proficiency required in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proven ability to work with little or no supervision
- Ability to work under pressure, to handle interruptions and to manage multiple requests
- Ability to deal with sensitive information using excellent judgement, diplomacy, and discretion
- Available to work extra hours on short notice
