Metro Edge Realty is a leading real estate trading brokerage in Metro Vancouver that is introducing advanced information technology (MeHome.com) into real estate industry. It provides our Realtors, clients, and stakeholders a full range, one-stop service through our online platform. While our business is fast growing with strong demands of IT experts, we are now offering a full-time position of Senior Database Analyst. The main duties of the position would be:

• Maintain and manage current business database to ensure its performance and security;
• Operate database application to support business developments by different ways including user behavior analysis, data digging and integration;
• Program and upgrade current data analysis application to provide better supports;
• Conduct data digging to analyze competitor and industry trend;
• Work with IT team and business development for future data analysis needs;
• Suggest, comment, and choose higher level and better database platform for company future development;
• Develop and maintain complex models and logical database designs;
• Compose and implement data administration strategy, polices and standards;

To be a successful candidate, you shall have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Database, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related majors;
• 3+ year of relevant work experience;
• Proven ability on database management experiences;
• Holding relevant certificates on SQLSERVER and/or ORACLE and/or MySQL;
• Able to code with Java/SQL/ C++;
• Able to design data structure, implement development plan, manage risks;
• Ability to work independently while prioritizing your workload;
• Team player, able to work under pressure and multi-task environment;
• Working language is English. Chinese speaking is an asset for consideration;
• Experience in finance and real estate field is considered a strong asset;
