We have an opportunity for a Senior Sales Compensation Analyst to join Sierra Wireless team. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team, chartered with providing mission critical support in the areas of sales compensation management and reporting.
Responsibilities: - Administer the global sales compensation plan for 200+ team members; ensure that the plan is being applied consistent with the plan policies and financial controls
- Assist with the configuration, testing, and administration of our commission software, including commission plans, employee status, territory and account assignment, crediting rules, compensation targets, quotas, and draw payments
- Monitor new hire and termination data and update internal systems accordingly
- Work closely with the Sales Operations team to ensure accurate crediting of bookings to sales representatives and managers
- Work closely with Human Resources to understand new hire offers, including draws and sign-on bonuses
- Work with the Payroll team to process commission payments on time and accurately each month
- Prepare a monthly commission expense estimate for Finance
- Work with other members of the Sales Compensation Team to develop sales performance management reports
- Research and resolve commission-related inquiries from the Sales team, such as system access issues, transaction crediting, and payment calculations
- Evaluate commission plans and processes and initiate changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs of administration
- Provide support during the annual commission planning process such as historical performance analysis and modeling
Required Education, Experience & Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Operations
- 3-5 years of hands-on sales compensation administration
- Experience using CallidusCloud or other enterprise incentive software solutions
- Advanced MS Excel skills - experience with pivot tables and complex formulas Detail-oriented, self-motivated, pro-active, and have absolute integrity
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Service-oriented and effective at building positive relationships, fostering trust, and resolving conflict
- Works effectively during periods of high pressure and tight deadlines
