Job Summary
We have an opportunity for a Business Development Representative to join our Inside Sales team, headquartered in Richmond, B.C., reporting to the Director, Opportunity Development. In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting into Companies and booking meetings for our Outside Sales team. This will be accomplished by using a variety of tools to identify decision makers at target companies and then reaching out to those prospects over different mediums including e-mail, phone, and social media. Responsibilities
- 100% focused on acquiring new customers through outbound prospecting activities
- Deliver qualified Leads to Outside Sales team in the form of booked meetings
- Identify decision makers within targeted Accounts to begin the sales process using tools that include LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, or similar resources
- Work collaboratively with the outside Sales team to drive the sales process and pipeline growth
- Capture data in Salesforce CRM database
- Maintain thorough knowledge of company hardware, services, and solutions
- Stay current on industry trends as well as the competitive landscape
- Prepare activity reports as requested
Required Education, Experience & Competencies
- 1-3 years of experience in Inside Sales or related role
- Experience with Salesforce and related supporting tools
- Experience with selling technology solutions
- Experience in a commission-based environment
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Minimal business travel outside office required (1-2 weeks per year)
