Job Summary
We have an opportunity for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team in our Richmond, BC headquarters. In this role, you will be all-consumed with our web experience and performance. You will be accountable for project-managing website projects and deeply caring about our analytics. You are responsible for maintaining differentiation of our website, optimizing and ensuring we're growing traffic and leads to the site.
Responsibilities
- Manage website projects and the content of the Sierra Wireless website, including coding using HTML, create landing pages and forms, and Sierra Wireless eStore.
- Work with external vendors and internal team members to evolve the online and web user experience; implement common processes to improve efficiency and optimize budget spend.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
- Troubleshoot website issues and monitor and manage site performance.
- Manage SEO program on behalf of Sierra Wireless in strategy and execution to optimize organic performance.
- Report on website analytics and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs). Create a baseline reporting package and ad-hoc reports. Use data to troubleshoot website design. Share results and present at a regular cadence.
- Plan, execute and measure A/B and personalization tests.
- Oversee outsourced projects to web and SEO vendors and drive the project to success.
- Maintain integration points between corporate website, marketing automation platform, customer relationship management platform and any other system.
- Manage complex projects related to digital throughout the Marketing organization and represent Marketing on cross-functional projects in providing input where required.
Required Education, Experience & Competencies
- 5-7 years progressive marketing experience, with an emphasis on digital marketing
- Extremely strong project management skills
- Experience with content management systems and email marketing tools
- Experience leading website projects, including conversion optimization, search engine optimization, integrations of multiple web properties, etc.
- Strong HTML skills and user experience design skills
- Expert knowledge of marketing tools including Sitecore, Eloqua, Salesforce, Lattice, Terminus, Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Adobe Creative Suite
- eCommerce management experience required
- Expert-level Adobe Cloud experience (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Astute attention to detail, with a keen 'eye' for design
- A 'get things done' attitude, with very strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, with a demonstrated ability to take initiative
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to multi-task effectively and work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written English communication and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders
- A dynamic, team-oriented individual with a customer service orientation
