Job Summary

We have an opportunity for an Electronic Technician to join our Hardware team in our Richmond, BC headquarters. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting hardware development for the Module Integration team. There is an opportunity for this position to grow into a design role in the future.

Responsibilities

• Build, test and debug development engineering prototypes and products
• Support Equipment Maintenance and Calibration
• Ability to perform detailed assembly and SMT rework to hardware prototypes
• Manage the inventory and the flow of hardware prototypes
• Maintain Lab supplies
• Support the Engineering team (CAD, Mechanical, etc.) activities

Required Education, Experience & Skills

• Electronic Technician or Technologist or relevant work experience in telecommunications
• 3 - 5 years of experience in cellular
• 3 - 5 years of experience testing and debugging prototypes
• Must work well individually and in a team environment
• Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills

Desired Education, Experience & Skills

• Expertise using wireless communications test equipment is an asset
• Hands-on rework experience with surface mount components and printed circuit assemblies is an asset
