Job Summary

We have an opportunity for a Senior Integration Engineer to join our Module Intergration team in our Richmond, BC headquarters. In this role, you will integrate components from the software team(s) into a build package, perform sanity/verification testing on the package, generate Release Notes and provide the package to the validation team.

The work arrangement for this role will be hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Create build package based on delivered software components
• Perform sanity/verification testing on build package and provide test report
• Deliver build package to validation team for validation
• Generate release notes for build packages
• Maintain and update release notes templates
• Design, maintain, and update sanity test framework and scripts
• Review product requirements as an input to sanity test requirements
• Collaborate with software and validation teams on issue triage and resolution

Required Education, Experience & Skills

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer software engineering, computer science, or a related discipline
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience, or equivalent
• Very good verbal and written communication skills
• Good scripting experience with Python
• Able to work independently as well as collaborate with other teams
• Can break down medium sized problems into tasks or subcomponents
• A proficient problem solver with systematic debugging skills

Desired Education, Experience & Skills

• Exposure to WWAN protocols such as LTE
• Exposure to GNSS operation and control
• TCP/IP suite of protocols
• Source code control such as Git/Gerrit
• Defect tracking tools such as JIRA
• Collaboration tools such as Confluence
• Automation tools such as Jenkins
• Knowledge of Docker, Groovy, Bash scripting, and Windows scripting
