Engineering Emmy-Award-winning HP Anyware Cloud Access Software (CAS) to deliver the best virtual and remote desktop experience in the world. HP Anyware PCoIP technology brings the next generation of secure remoting technology to the marketplace, enabling visualization of even the most graphics-intensive applications. HP Anyware enables enterprises to securely leverage public cloud GPU instances to confidently lift and shift the most graphics-intensive Windows or Linux applications to the public cloud, avoiding costly rewrites.
The HP CloudPC service group is accountable for running the HP CloudPC service, where HP delivers the CloudPC into a customer-controlled Azure tenant in the Cloud that has access to specific customer-controlled active directories (AD).
Being a DevOps culture, the aim is for CloudPC service group to support and maintain a CloudPC release pipeline that allows the CloudPC service to be updated frequently as the CloudPC development team provides updates/fixes and/or new features. The publishing pipeline enables roll-outs and roll-backs, and will have stages to ensure quality to ensure that service level objectives can be met and service level indicates can be maintained.
The core responsibility is to negotiate and meet defined service levels. This includes putting place monitoring and tracking, reporting, incident response measures and mechanisms. Additional responsibilities include monitoring, hardening, and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery procedures, and ensuring the infrastructure and surrounding processes can meet compliance requirements.
The operational team is a stakeholder that feeds requirements into the development team as necessary, notably as it pertains to stability, troubleshooting errors, tracking key service level indicators, or achieving compliance requirements.
Support escalation against the CloudPC service would feed into the operational team as a second triage point and move to the development team if it is determined to be a product issue and not a service issue.
- Service Level Creation, monitoring, reporting (SRE)

Responsibilities:
- Driving the CloudPC Service to increased security, higher availability, fault tolerance and automation
- Creating dashboards and alerts to monitor the service
- Defining service KPIs and alerting on them
- Defining and implementing operational, compliance and security improvement plans
- Implementing monitoring, alerts and automation
- Integrating security checks to be real-time to support continuous delivery
- Running operations reviews and incident postmortems
- Resolving complex technical issues by performing troubleshooting and root-cause analysis on detailed log files.
- Coaching team members on operations and security
- Managing and implementing disaster recovery plan
- Working with the product owner to define the priority and business value of operation and security work
- Providing feedback on development or design plans around their impact to performance, operations, scalability and security of the overall service
- Communicating and coordinating with product security and IT
- On-call rotation with the other team members
- Providing system integration services for PCoIP components.
- Managing and triaging the customer support ticket queue.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors or Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Related Disciplines.
- An outstanding communicator who loves helping customers architect cost effective, efficient cloud-based global solutions.
- Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude in unblocking issues.
- In-depth knowledge in operating, scaling and automating IaaS
- Hands-on experience with test automation and scripting languages (e.g., Perl and/or Python)
- 2+ years of in-depth experience and knowledge with using Microsoft Azure, Windows 365 and InTune
- 2+ years with in-depth, practical knowledge and usage of cloud-based Infrastructure As A Service (IAAS), such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Platform.
- 2+ years of in-depth experience and knowledge in Linux administration (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS and other main-stream Linux distributions).
- 2+ years of in-depth experience and knowledge in administrating, managing and creating IT systems and infrastructure (Active Directory, Domain Controller, Digital Certificate, Network Configuration, Security, Wireshark Analysis).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to collaborate with software developers, product owners and other stakeholders.
- Experience with DevOps techniques using Agile development methodologies.
- Experience in defining, and implementing service monitoring and alerts
