We're looking for a customer-centric Client Services Manager who enjoys working at the forefront of insight technology. This role can be based in Toronto, Minneapolis, Vancouver or New York. As a member of our Vision Critical Research & Partner Solutions (RPS) team, you partner with clients on their research using their insight community and assist clients in keeping their communities healthy and successful.
You own and build the client relationship, so you understand what they need and uncover opportunities for research - whether it be using Vision Critical's Sparq platform to run an online survey or using a range of other technology-based research tools such as online live chats, online focus groups, or other research applications.
You are responsible for extending the value of the community through consulting, listening, and understanding the clients' needs and being able to advise, assess, and suggest solutions as a result. By consulting on research and maintaining an engaged community, you will help clients get great ROI from their insight communities, powered by our software platform and expertise. Responsibilities
- Proactively help clients to engage with their own consumers and stakeholders stakeholders on a regular basis based on the needs at hand, be it community management, research, or consultative strategies
- Be open and willing to think outside of the box, explore different solutions to resolve challenges, and uncover opportunities
- Experience and interest in research solutions, such as tools for online surveys, online live chats, discussion forums, and other research applications
- Build client relationships, providing oversight on projects as well as being the day-to-day client contact
- Consult and deliver on overall insight community management including engagement strategies and sharebacks - ways to show value through the community
- Liaise with internal operations, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and on-time
- Help to enhance team capabilities by introducing new research approaches, technologies or research offerings
- Stay up to date with our software platform Sparq and its range of use-cases
- If previous experience or interest: Manage multiple quantitative and/or qualitative projects in the full research process from start to finish including proposals, design, analysis, recommendations, and story-telling
Requirements
- Completed a post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field and/or has 3+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in Market Research/Consumer Insights or Customer Success/Client Services
- Have a reputation for creativity, are known for your attention to detail, and for superior communication and client management skills
- Ability to think out-of-the box, doesn't stand for mediocrity or status quo
- Ready to contribute to the team's capability and culture, above and beyond project delivery and day-to-day client management
- Ability to manage multiple projects and accounts
- Have proven experience and/or education in both quantitative and qualitative methodologies
- Experience on the full-service supplier side of research is a definite advantage
- Have expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint would be considered an asset
- Strong willingness and ability to learn new software applications over time
- Experience working with or managing online insight communities would be an added bonus
