Do you enjoy marketing and research? Do you get inspired by making a positive difference in the lives of people in BC?
WorkSafeBC is looking for a highly motivated Co-op Student, Marketing who is passionate about the customer experience and loves finding insights in order to make an impact using marketing and communication tools. We need a keen student who is as comfortable analyzing data for trends and insights as they are creating initiatives to support and engage based on those insights. This person should come ready to help support the marketing team from a research, digital, social and print capacity.
This is a four-month full-time positions starting in May 2023.

Where you'll work
At WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines the convenience of working remotely with the dynamism of working in one of our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.
In these roles, you'll work primarily from your B.C. home and be on-site in our Richmond office at a minimum of once per month.
What you'll do
- Work with internal teams to create and implement outreach messaging and elements
- Participate in research, analyze results and write reports
- Complete creative briefs and project scope documents for projects
- Set up digital marketing tactics and track analytics
- Provide additional support to our marketing team as needed

- Apply strong research knowledge and understand how to develop initiatives based on strategy
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate a high level of quality and accuracy
- Demonstrate a proactive, service-focused attitude towards internal partners and the teams we support
- Demonstrate an ability to prioritize work and complete tasks with quick turnaround times
- Demonstrate self-motivation and an ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Your background and experience
- Is a third and/or fourth year student and enrolled in a Business Administration or Marketing program
- Is interested in writing both short and long copy
- Is interested and has knowledge in digital marketing, including social media, is an asset
- Familiarity with key social media platforms and tools (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Hootsuite, Hootsuite Analytics)
- Has completed a co-op term or worked in an office setting is preferred

- Confirm you're a registered student at a post-secondary institution and is participating in a work integrated learning program
