We're looking for a Co-op Student, Experience Design to work in the Experience, Communications, Marketing and Insights department to support the Stakeholder Experience Design team.

This is an eight-month temporary opportunity starting January 2024.
How you'll make a difference: You'll apply what you've learned in your post-secondary program to help improve the experience for workers and employers across the province who interact with WorkSafeBC.
Where you'll work
At WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines the convenience of working remotely with the dynamism of working in one of our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.
In this role, you'll work primarily from your B.C. home and be on-site in our Richmond office at a minimum of once per month or based on operational needs.

- Provide support for new and ongoing stakeholder experience projects which includes administration, project management and research related tasks
- Conduct secondary research in support of stakeholder experience
- Provide input to help impact change across the organization relating to stakeholder experience
- Schedule, coordinate, and take notes during focus groups and interviews
- Help design journey maps and empathy maps
- Review research findings to detect and visualize common themes
- Assist in the preparation of PowerPoint reports and presentations in alignment with the WorkSafeBC brand
- Provide support for projects which may involve proof reading, quality control or data checks, assistance with participant recruitment, tracking project completions, organizing project folders

Your background and experience
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in Marketing, SIAT programs, Interaction Design programs, Data Visualization
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) is required.
- Experience with interaction design, or marketing or data visualization
- Experience with creating and informing customer journeys
