Vancouver, BC, June 3, 2009--(T-Net)--Tsunami Solutions Ltd announced the launch of the new SafetyLine Smartphone applet for Work-Alone safety monitoring with BlackBerry mobile devices.
While still providing the best possible Work Alone Safety Monitoring Service with the existing IVR voice and mobile data browser channels, SafetyLine remote Users carrying BlackBerry mobile devices can now install a SafetyLine Applet to add functionality and streamlined usage. This can be for some or all Users (with BlackBerries) on a SafetyLine subscription, while still giving the option to use standard phones & interfaces (without BlackBerries).
This Applet allows for a simpler day-to-day User interface to the SafetyLine service. It also allows for User GPS location to be gathered and reported through the SafetyLine system using the BlackBerry’s existing internal GPS receiver and data connection.
As BlackBerries are currently in very common use for remote workforces, this applet allows better interface and added functionality with SafetyLine, without the need for expensive additional hardware solutions.
Features:
- GPS locating on every Check-In, Emergency, or any other User event or report.
- Streamlined ease of use, with single button Check-In and Panic functionalities.
- Works on all carrier networks.
- Compatible with other SafetyLine functionalities, such as Voice IVR Interface and Mobile Data Monitor Interface.
- and it's FREE! - SafetyLine Applet is free for all current and new SafetyLine subscribers with BlackBerry devices.
This new SafetyLine Applet is providing just one other way for SafetyLine to make Work Alone Safety Regulation compliance easy.
