Pat Brady joins the VentureLabs Venture Acceleration Program® as Executive-in-Residence

Vancouver, BC, September 9, 2014--(T-Net)--VentureLabs®, a technology business accelerator, announced today that Pat Brady will join the accelerator as Executive-in-Residence.
Mr. Brady will be paired with entrepreneurs to advise on product and market validation, development or refinement of a positioning statement, and validation of business models.
Mr. Brady has over two decades experience financing and building innovative companies. He has spent the last 16 years as a venture investment professional with Growthworks Capital Ltd., one of the largest venture capital firms that has managed over $1 billion in assets.
As an institutional investor, Mr. Brady has led or participated in over $600M of equity and debt financing.
Mr. Brady has served on numerous Boards as a director or observer, including Boreal Genomics, Celator Technologies, Inetco Systems Ltd., MSI Methylation Sciences Inc., Neuromed Pharmaceuticals, OncoGenex Pharmaceuticals Inc., Protiva Biotherapeutics (now Tekmira Pharmaceuticals Corp.) and Xenon Pharmaceuticals Inc..
Mr. Brady's expansive Board and operating roles contributes to an in-depth skillset in strategic planning, finance, deal structuring, project management, business development, HR and governance.
