New Westminster, BC, December 14, 2016--(T-Net)--Avocette Technologies announced recently that it has launched Adopt BC Kids, a new, secure online adoption application for BC, and built for British Columbians looking to adopt children and youth from care, for the BC government (Ministry for Children and Family Development).
Adopt BC Kids is the first website of its kind in Canada. As a national leader in red tape reduction, British Columbia is streamlining the adoption process by replacing the old paper-driven practices.
Adopt BC Kids brings together all the children available for adoption and all the families applying to adopt in a single database. It is personalized and user-friendly with a built-in, automatic matching system.
The new system empowers parents with a secure website and tracking system that allows them to submit an online application. The tracking system also gives parents a better understanding of where they are in the approval process and the required next steps.
In addition, families will have the support of new adoption service hub staff. Staff and families will work together, ensuring application packages have the required supporting documents and lightening the burden on adoption workers.
The Adopt BC Kids system combined with the efforts of this staff will enable adoption workers to focus on finding the right match for families and children.
