Burnaby-based Mobilearth Speeds Noventis Credit Union Account Opening Time in Half

Noventis members experience 50 percent time savings in account opening process using Mobilearth's MobiBranch technology.
Burnaby, BC, August 8, 2016--(T-Net)--Along with mobilizing its workforce with omni-channel, mobile banking provider Mobilearth's MobiBranch technology, Noventis Credit Union ($782 million; 26,400 members; Gimli, MB) has also provided its members with a 50 percent account opening time savings using the same solution, according to the company.
This new staff mobility and significant time savings allow Noventis to fulfill its bigger goal of spending more time with members discussing high priority financial items.
“It's all about maximizing our time with the member to ensure they are on a sound financial path for the future,” says Noventis CEO Kevin McKnight. “Using Mobibranch allows our staff to actually leave the branch and meet with members, as well as streamlining the account opening process - which lets us address other financial items that are important to our members. Overall, it makes us more efficient and enhances our outreach efforts significantly.”
McKnight outlines four reasons for launching Mobilearth's MobiBranch:
“For us, answering these four items allows for less activity in the branch and more activity online and outside the branch to save costs and be more efficient - which gives more flexibility for our members,” he adds.
Mobilearth's MobiBranch tablet and smartphone apps allow financial institutions to have a virtually unlimited reach. Instead of being constrained to the traditional five-mile radius around any particular branch, a credit union or bank's reach with MobiBranch is now only limited by how far employees can travel to reach out to new and existing audiences wherever they live, work, and play.
McKnight says the timing for its MobiBranch launch was opportune with a new, high-tech branch opening that would get the staff out into the surrounding communities and display its new efficiencies. “We saw big value using these features at the branch level,” he adds.
“We are excited about Noventis' launch of MobiBranch and how it will enhance their community connection, as well as significantly streamlining their account opening process,” states Mobilearth CEO Tia Lee. “We see these enhancements complementing their already forward-thinking philosophy with technology services for their members.”
