Applications Open For Implementation Science Team Competition
Thursday, March 1, 2018
Vancouver, BC, March 1, 2018--(T-Net)--Applications are now open for MSFHR's inaugural Implementation Science Team competition. The letter of intent deadline is April 16, 2018 with Development Grants due to start July 1, 2018.
New for 2018, the Implementation Science Team (IST) Program will support teams of BC researchers, research users and senior decision-makers studying what interventions work within the health system and why, and how these interventions can be implemented, adapted to other settings, or scaled-up across regions.
Created in consultation with BC researchers, health system decision-makers, and national and international experts in implementation science, the IST Program is designed to support the implementation and adoption of evidence-based, implementation-ready interventions to improve the quality and effectiveness of population health, health services and care in BC.
2018 IST application guidelines
The IST competition consists of two phases, a Development Grant and a Project Grant. The six month Development Grant will provide implementation science training, and support team and project development. During this time, teams will develop and submit full Project Grant applications, with successful teams receiving funding to support their projects for up to three years. Each project must address one or more of BC's current health system priorities.
